Dr. Ajay Mehra, born in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, was raised in a nurturing and intellectually enriched environment by his parents, Dr. Kailash and Geeta Mehra. His father, a highly respected physician in Chandrapur, built a name for himself by establishing a nursing home in the heart of Kotwali Ward. Inspired by his father’s compassion and commitment to medicine, Dr. Ajay developed an early passion for healthcare and excelled academically from a young age.
Carrying forward the dreams of his father, who envisioned his son as a super-specialist, Dr. Ajay embarked on an illustrious educational journey. After completing his graduation and post-graduation from the prestigious Government Medical College, Nagpur, he pursued his Doctorate of Medicine (DM) in Neurology at the renowned Grant Medical College, Mumbai. Eager to expand his knowledge and skills, he completed his DNB in Neurology from the esteemed Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad—a testament to his dedication and brilliance in the field.

Driven by an unwavering commitment to refine her expertise, she pursued a short-term fellowship in Glaucoma at the prestigious L.V. Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, in 2009. This was soon followed by rigorous training in Phacoemulsification—a cutting-edge cataract surgery technique—at the same esteemed institute. Dr. Surabhi’s passion for Glaucoma management led her to fulfill her dreams in 2015 when she completed a Glaucoma Fellowship at Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore, one of the leading eye care institutes in India.
